The public is advised of the following special dates for the Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture and public schools.

• The academic school year will begin on Monday, 23 August under the theme “Educating All in Changing Times:  Every learner succeeds”.
• Professional Day for all educators will be held virtually on Monday, August 23 at 9:00 a.m.
• Summer Institute sessions will be held from Tuesday, August 24 to Friday, August 27.
• Kindergarten Readiness Assessment will take place from Monday, August 30 to Friday, September 3.
• Orientation for New and Transfer Students will be held on Thursday,  September 2.
• Orientation for returning students is Friday, September 3.
