Vulnerable households experiencing hardships during the lockdown are urged to contact the Social Development Department.

Minister for Health and Social Development Honourable Carvin Malone stated on April 15 that the Social Development Department is working in tandem with the BVI Red Cross and the Family Support Network to continue to take requests for special assistance such as meals and other essential services.

To accommodate the volume of calls received, persons in need are asked to call the following numbers 468-9371, 468-9384, 440-2338, 440-2439, 440-2456 and 440-2457.

Persons who wish to purchase critical items through at-home service delivery during the remainder of the 24-hour Curfew period which ends on April 20 at 6:00 a.m. can contact the following supermarkets from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and LPG (cooking gas) services from 6:00 a.m. to 12 noon. These are:
