Residents Told To Get Home Electrical Network Inspected

Residents in the following areas are asked to make preparations to have their homes electrical network inspected by the Government of the Virgin Islands Electrical Inspection Unit for reconnection to the national electricity grid.

  • West End
  • Belmont Park
  • Towers Estate
  • Freshwater Pond
  • Romney Park
  • Coxheath
  • Lower Estate
  • Huntums Ghut
  • Johnson Ghut
  • Little Dix Hill

An electrical inspection certificate must be obtained for newly constructed buildings from the Electrical Inspection Unit before a connection can be made.

Residents will be further advised by British Virgin Islands Electricity Corporation on the times for connection in these areas.
