Repairs to the incinerator at Pockwood Pond are nearing completion and electricity has been restored to the facility.

The Government of the Virgin Islands entered into an agreement with Skelton Electrics Limited to replace and reconnect all damaged ceiling lights, devices, electrical cables and wiring between the incinerator panel and the building’s electrical main panel as a result of damages caused by a fire in November 2018.

As part of the repairs, a CS-4000 Incinerator Replacement Control Panel was purchased from Consutech Systems LLC and is being prepared for shipment to the Territory in the coming weeks.
