All residents of the Virgin Islands are reminded to wear a purple article of clothing on Friday, October 16, as part of the Domestic Violence Awareness Month activities.

In marking this occasion, the Office of Gender Affairs aims to create a significant demonstration of unity against domestic violence and provide support to survivors.

Domestic Violence Awareness Month is observed under the theme, “You Can Be The Change”.
