This week we observe reading is fun week under the theme, “Reading is the Best Remedy”.  The schedule of activities for the remainder of the week is as follows:

• Wednesday, Local Author day - Local authors are invited to speak with students at schools to share excerpts and explain the process of writing a book.
• Thursday, D.E.A.R. dare.  - This activity requires students to bring a piece of literature they have read (newspaper, book, comic, advertisement, lyrics from a song etc.)
• Friday, Living Books Day - Students are allowed to dress like a character from their favourite book.
