The public is notified that the date and venue have been changed for the hosting of the Ministry of Education and Culture’s annual Secondary School Debates. The debates will now be held on Monday, January 30 at the Eileene L. Parsons Auditorium, H. Lavity Stoutt Community College.

Students representing the Bregado Flax Educational Centre and St. George’s Secondary School will debate the topic, “Gay marriage harms the institution of traditional marriage” at 6:00 p.m.

Students from the BVI Seventh Day Adventist School and Virgin Islands School of Technical Studies will debate the topic, “Higher tax should be levied on ‘junk foods’” at 7:30 p.m.

All are invited to attend and support the students.
