Residents of the Virgin Islands are invited to wear purple on Wednesday, October 31 as part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month activities.

Purple is the international colour of domestic violence awareness and is being observed under the theme, “Domestic Violence Awareness+ Action = Life Change".

The Office of Gender Affairs aims to create a national demonstration of unity against domestic violence and to show support to survivors in observance of the occasion.
