The Ministry of Education and Culture is inviting the public to attend the grand opening celebration of the Jeffery Caines Sports Arena on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 in Valley, Virgin Gorda beginning at 6:00 p.m.

The opening ceremony will feature three exciting basketball games, barbeque style refreshments and entertainment provided by DJ Push Pop.

The basketball games are as follows: There will be an exhibition game featuring the Original Mystics versus the Mystics Sons. Game one will see the BVI Women’s National Team versus the Mystics under 14 team, while East Rockers 40 Plus team versus the Mystics 40 Plus team will be featured in game two.

The Ministry will provide a charter from the Road Town Ferry Dock to Virgin Gorda. The boat will leave at 5:00 p.m. and return immediately following the end of the last basketball game.
