The Government of the Virgin Islands is inviting the public to The Official Celebration of the Expansion of the Cruise Pier on April 29 at 4:00 p.m.

The lengthening, widening and strengthening of the pier to host larger ships, is complete and it is time to celebrate this momentous milestone in Virgin Islands history.

Complimentary ferry service to the event for residents of the Sister Islands will be available at the following times:

• Virgin Gorda - Speedy's Departs Spanish Town 3:00 p.m. to Tender Dock
• Jost Van Dyke - New Horizon Ferry Departs Great Harbour 3:00 p.m. to Tender Dock 
• Anegada - Road Town Fast Ferry Departs Setting Point 2:30 p.m. to Tender Dock 

All boats are expected to depart from the Tender Dock after the Fireworks display at 7:00 pm.

The public is asked to come out and enjoy the food, music and fireworks at this festive occasion.
