The Social Development Department will host a series of Community Mobilising Workshop from October 20 to 23.

The workshops will take place on Tortola at the Gertrude and Christiana Warner Centre at October 20 and 21 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The October 22 session will be on Jost Van Dyke at Rudy’s Restaurant and on Virgin Gorda on October 23 at the Ashford Walters Community Centre.

The workshops are geared towards getting persons in the community involved and engaged in the events taking place within their neighborhoods and the wider Territory. They will also address recruitment and retention in community and service organisations.
