The public is asked to assist in reducing the overflow at public recycling bins throughout the Territory.

Persons are urged to take large quantities of sorted glass to the Pockwood Pond facility on weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and large quantities of plastic and aluminum drink cans to the ‘We Recycle Centre’ located at Paraquita Bay Monday through Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The public is also asked to consider reducing the use of single use plastic water bottles by filtering cistern water or by refilling gallon bottles at local outlets.
