Press Release
The Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture will be discussing the topic ‘Protecting Children in Tough Times’ in its next Facebook LIVE session of A Chat with the Community as it seeks to help parents and students through the challenges of change and online learning.
Minister for Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture, Dr. the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley said in his update of the Education Sector that the aim of the Live sessions is to provide ongoing educational support at this time.
Dr. Wheatley said, “To date, we have conducted three sessions and these are expected to continue in the coming weeks. My ministry will continue to share with the public but specifically parents, relevant information on how to cope during this time when the home has also become the school room.”
The public is invited to tune in to the Government’s Facebook Page @BVIGovernment on Tuesday, June 9 at 3:00 p.m. to be a part of the session.
