The Department of Waste Management is accepting quotations for the supply of one hundred 360 litre residential heavy duty wheeled trashcans and thirty 1100 litre heavy duty wheeled dumpsters.

The bins are to be constructed using waterproof material resistant to extreme temperatures, UV rays and chemicals.

   The trashcans and dumpsters should meet the following specifications:

• Produced in accordance with DIN EN 840 and RAL GZ 951/1
• Manufactured from specially developed, high molecular weight, high-density polyethylene
• Resistant to chemicals, heat and UV rays
• Compatible with DIN and comb lifting devices (the lifting trunnions for DIN devices are reinforced with steel inserts) - (applicable only for the 1100L Dumpster)
• The rubber wheels run on a corrosion-resistant, zinc-plated steel axle
• All metal parts are zinc plated and therefore resistant to corrosion
• Each bin features a 2-inch water drain with a locking plug - (applicable only for the 1100L Dumpster)
• The front panel is ideal for large customised printings
• Loading Ears Caps (applicable only for the 1100L Dumpster)

Interested businesses should provide in a sealed envelope the name of the company and reference “Supply of trashcans and dumpsters for DWM” and enclose the following:

1. Quotation to supply 100 Roll-Out 360 Litre Heavy Duty Wheeled Trashcans and 30 1100 Litre Wheeled Dumpsters
2. Pictures of the proposed trashcan and dumpster
3. Product specification/details for 360 Litre Wheeled Trashcan and 1100 Litre Wheeled Dumpster
4. Certificate of Good Standing from the Inland Revenue Department, Social Security Board and National Health Insurance or equivalent if an international Tenderer
5. Valid Trade License 2025  or equivalent if an international Tenderer.

            All documents must be included for consideration. The deadline for submission is Friday, 28 March 2025, at 4:00 p.m.

All quotations must be hand delivered to the Department of Waste Management Office, located on the second of the Union Property Building adjacent to Happy Lion Restaurant Tortola.
