The Financial Secretary is notifying owners of premises at which intoxicating liquor is sold and who wish to have their businesses remain open on special occasions beyond midnight and sell liquor to note the following:

1. a letter of application must be made to the Financial Secretary stating the details of the request for extension of bar hours (the occasion, the date, how long the extension is requested for); 
2. applications should be made at least two (2) weeks before the scheduled function;
3. applications should be accompanied by valid trade and liquor licences, a copy of the Commissioner of Police's response (noise permit);
4. consideration will only be given to applications that have all supporting documents

Please be notified that clubs and hotels are excluded from this notice.
