The Supervisor of Elections is informing the public that the Preliminary Voters’ List is available for inspection for a period of ten days from September 10 to 20 in accordance with Section 18 (5) of the Elections Act, 1994 and Amendments.

Section 18 (5) of the Act states that every Preliminary List shall be open for inspection by the public free of charge during the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day for a period of ten days after the publication.

The public is also reminded that every person who claims that his/her name, address or occupation has been wrongfully stated or omitted from the Preliminary List shall give notice to the Supervisor using Form No. 3 within ten days after the publication of the List.

Persons whose name appears on the Preliminary List can make objections to any other person whose name is also on the List. Proof to support the objection must be provided to the Supervisor using Form No. 4 within ten days after the publication of the List. 

All claims or objections must be filed at the Elections Office located at Creque's Building, #216 Upper Main Street, Road Town no later than September 20.
