OFFICERS OF THE JOINT TASK FORCE RECEIVE VIRTUAL MARITIME TRAINING

Officers from the Joint Task Force completed a virtual three-day Royal Navy International Maritime Training organised through the Governor Office’s via the United Kingdom’s interest in offering training to the officers. The training covered topics including: Maritime Law/Rights to Board, Phases of Boarding, Personnel Search and Evidence Awareness.

The Joint Task Force is made up of members from the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force, the Department of Customs, and the Department of Immigration.
