The Government of the Virgin Islands has announced that the official Opening and Dedication Ceremony for the Nurse Iris O’Neal Medical Centre is slated to take place on Thursday, February 20.

Minister for Health and Social Development, Honourable Carvin Malone is extending an invitation to residents of the Virgin Islands, particularly those on Virgin Gorda to share in the celebration of the advancement of health services in the British Virgin Islands.

The ceremony is slated to begin at 5:00 p.m. and will be streamed live on several platforms including radio, television and social media. Further details on the streaming will be provided in the coming days.

The Nurse Iris O’Neal Medical Centre is a two-storey structure, measuring close to 20,000 square feet and will offer urgent care, pharmacy, x-ray and laboratory services.
