The Government of the Virgin Islands (GoVI or “Government) acting through the Ministry of Communications and Works (MCW) desires to contract interested, resourceful, experienced and competent contractors or consortiums as a part of a pre-qualification process, so that a shortlist of qualified contractors or consortiums (collectively “parties”) to perform the construction works for the construction of all interior office spaces to include full mechanical; electrical; plumbing; fire and life safety systems; finishes; construction of interior and exterior stairs; construction of additional floor spaces; and complete replacement of the existing elevator.The General Contractor or Consortium will be responsible for furnishing all labour, equipment, material, and all expenses to undertake the construction works in accordance with the designs and specifications.
SCOPE OF THE WORKS
APPLICATION FOR DOCUMENTS
The EOI documents will be sent to Tenderers electronically upon request to procurement@gov.vg with the subject title “Construction of the Interior Office Spaces of the Ralph T. O’Neal Administration Complex (RTOAC).” Tenderers are advised that the destination mailbox is NOT automated to send Tenderers an acknowledgment of receipt and delivery of their request by email. Therefore, Tenderers should not assume that their email has been safely received and it is the responsibility of the Tenderer to follow up with the Procurement Coordinator using the contact information below if an acknowledgment of receipt is not received within one (1) day of submission of the e-mail. Under no circumstance will GOVI or the Procurement Unit, Ministry of Finance, be responsible for the non-receipt of documents by the Tenderer.

SUBMISSION OF EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
Electronic submissions in a non-editable format not exceeding 10 MB should be sent to the Ag. Procurement Coordinator (Mrs. Diana Purcell-Gumbs) at email address procurement@gov.vg. The filename and the email subject must bear the Applicant’s name and “Construction of the Interior Office Spaces of the Ralph T. O’Neal Administration Complex (RTOAC)”.
Expressions of Interest must be submitted electronically to the Ag. Procurement Coordinator no later than Monday, 30th September, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. (local time). Expression of Interest submitted after this time will not be considered and will be rejected.Submissions will be opened on Tuesday, 1st October, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. (local time).Tenderers are invited to witness the opening via WebEx. Access code and password will be provided prior to the tender opening.
