Minister for Health and Social Development, Honourable Vincent O. Wheatley is featured with Acting Permanent Secretary, Ms. Tasha Bertie and Acting Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Ronald Georges at the 60^th Directing Council of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), 75^th Session of the World Health Organization (WHO) of the Americas in Washington, D. C. The council will run from September 25 to 29. During the event, the council will consider PAHO’s programme budget for 2024 to 2025 as well as elections for several Member States Executive Committee and selection of two members to the Advisory Committee of the Latin American and Caribbean Center on Health Sciences Information (BIREME).
