The public is notified that Mammogram Service has resumed at Peebles Hospital.  A mammogram is a specialized type of x-ray used in the screening for breast cancer as well as investigating patients with symptoms concerning for breast cancer. The unit at Peebles Hospital utilizes both digital mammography and tomosynthesis (3D) methods in order to assist in early cancer detection.
