Local contractors are needed in carrying out home repairs as part of the Housing Recovery Assistance Programme.

Contractors must register their interest by applying to the Ministry of Health and Social Development accompanied by a cover letter outlining their interest and similar projects undertaken; a valid trade licence; certificates of Good Standings from Inland Revenue and the BVI Social Security Board; the National Health Insurance; and must have a minimum of five (5) years experience in the construction field.

The contractors who register will be added to a database of qualified contractors that will be accessible to make the tender process for housing projects more efficient. Contracts may be issued directly by the Government or other funding agencies.

Persons are asked to address required items to the Permanent Secretary Mrs. Petrona Davies and submitted to the Ministry of Health and Social Development, located at Old Peebles Hospital Annex in Tortola. Persons can also email these items at ministryofhealth@gov.vg.
