Eight Jost Van Dyke residents have been recertified as Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) members. 

The recertified team is comprised of residents who were certified in 2013 and 2014, when the first two CERT training programmes were conducted in Jost Van Dyke.  The recertification follows their successful completion of the refresher course conducted at the Jost Van Dyke Primary School from May 17 to 19.

The training was conducted by the British Virgin Islands Red Cross with support from the Department of Disaster Management.
