The public is advised that officers from the Environmental Health Division will be visiting communities, beginning with Carrot Bay to conduct assessments to capture vital information that will determine the health status of the Territory. 

The questionnaires will seek information on the number of sick persons, the level of environmental sanitation, food safety and how solid waste is being disposed. 

The Environmental Health Unit will also be conducting an assessment on the Territory's water systems to determine if they are damaged or contaminated. The department's personnel will be available to give advice and to distribute purification tablets for water safety problems.
