The Government of the Virgin Islands is inviting bids for supply and delivery of vehicles to improve its operations.

The contracts are segmented into three lots. Lot one includes two pickup trucks, one two doors and one four doors. Lot two includes one forklift and Lot three includes two SUVs, one of which must be (Mid-Size) High End.

Procurement Coordinator, Mrs. Ishma Rhymer, said that bidder may submit offers for one or more lots and contracts will be awarded on a lot by lot basis.  She added, that bidders must also be able to supply all items listed under each lot.

Mrs. Rhymer advised that bidders read the instructions thoroughly before completing the documentation. She said, “Failure to comply with any of the instruction concerning the completion and submission of these documents may render the bid non- compliant and may be excluded from this competitive bidding exercise.”

The Public Tender outlines the types of contracts, the documents required, the quotation requirements, prices and conditions of the bids.

Bids must be approximately labeled in an envelope: Tender for Supply of Government Vehicles and Do Not Open Before 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 30.

Tenderers must ensure that one original and two clearly marked copies of the tender are included in their package and appropriately addressed.


Tenders must be deposited in the “Tender Box” at the Chairman, Central Tenders Board, Procurement Unit, Ministry of Finance, Qwomar Trading Building #2, 2nd Floor, Road Town, Tortola VG1110, British Virgin Islands by Tuesday, July 30 at 10:00 a.m. Tenders will be opened at 11:00 a.m.

Mrs. Rhymer said bidders must ensure bids are in on time as late tenders are not permitted.
