Press Release
The Government of the Virgin Islands is accepting applications from food service businesses in the Territory for the joint grant programme with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
Ten food service businesses will receive a grant of $4,000 through the programme’s financial assistance to provide additional cash flow for operational expenditure. The programme is also designed to provide guidance on incorporating digital services into their business models as well as improving financial management practices.
Premier and Minister of Finance, Honourable Andrew A. Fahie thanked the UNDP for their continued support to the BVI during the COVID-19 crisis and encouraged businesses in this sector to apply and participate meaningfully in the programme.
The programme is being administered by the Ministry of Finance in partnership with the Premier’s Office and the Department of Trade, Investment Promotion and Consumer Affairs.
Applications are available on the Government’s webpage at www.bvi.gov.vg and the deadline for submission is Wednesday, July 15. Additional information is also provided on the application process and businesses that are eligible to apply for the assistance.
