The Government of the Virgin Islands is inviting tenders for refurbishment and installation works of the server rooms at the Royal Virgin Islands Police Headquarters and Road Town Police Station.

Senior Procurement Officer, Mrs. Diana Percell-Gumbs said the proposed works includes providing construction/refurbishment of server room, including demolition of glass enclosure, erecting a wall, removal and installation of tiles, resurfacing and painting of walls, installation of metal door and associated electrical works and installation of specific equipment at the Police Headquarters.

Eligible tenderers are required to submit Certificates of Good Standing in respect of Social Security, National Health Insurance, Inland Revenue, the Commercial Registry and a valid Trade Licence along with a proposed work programme, Method Statement and Time Schedule for executing the works along with other documents outlined.

Bid documents will be available from Monday, September 28 on week days between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and electronically upon request to procurement@gov.vg with the subject title “Refurbishment and Installation Works of Server Rooms at the Royal Virgin Islands Police Headquarters and Road Town Police Station”.

Interested Tenderers must submit one (1) original, three (3) copies and one (1) flash drive containing the bidding documents placed in a sealed envelope marked “ORIGINAL” and additional copies placed in another sealed envelope  marked “COPIES”. Both envelopes should then be placed in an outer envelope  marked “Tender for the Refurbishment and Installation Works of Server Rooms at the Royal Virgin Islands Police Headquarters and Road Town Police Station” and addressed to:

All tenders must be deposited in the “Tender Box no later than 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 27.

A virtual Pre-Tender meeting via Webex is scheduled for Thursday, October 8, at 10:00 a.m. and all prospective tenderers will be notified of the access code and password prior to the meeting. This will be followed by a site visit.  All prospective tenderers are invited to attend.

Tenders will be opened at the Procurement Unit, Ministry of Finance, Qwomar Trading Building #2, 2nd Floor at 11:00 a.m. on, Tuesday, October 27.  All Tenderers are invited to witness this process virtually via Webex and will be provided with the access code and password prior to the opening.
