The public is notified that a recall has been issued for Epipen and Epipen Jr. Auto Injector as the devices may contain a defective part that can result in their failure to activate.

The recalled devices were distributed between December 17, 2015, and July 1, 2016. The expiration dates on the recalled devices range from April 2017 to October 2017.

 Business places that sell the pens are asked to discontinue the sale of the product with any of the affected lot numbers and to contact Mylan Specialty at 1800-796-9526 for further instructions.
