Residents on the eastern end of Tortola are notified that the BVI Electricity Corporation will be conducting maintenance on its high voltage system on Thursday, October 19 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. As a result, the following areas that are served by the Bar Bay Water Plant will be affected by the interruption to the electricity supply.

  • Whelk Point
  • Fat Hogs Bay
  • Maya Cove
  • Brady Ghut
  • Long Swamp
  • Greenland
  • Parham Town
  • Red Bay
  •  Major Bay
  •  East End
  • Beef Island
