The Electrical Inspection Unit is notifying all electricians that effective October 5, 2015, all drawings must be available, when applying for Mechanical ‘roughin’ inspections.

According to statutory instruments 1999 NO.46 BVIE Ordinance (Cap 277), drawings are to be presented for the electrical inspector to accurately determine the square footage of the building in order for a ‘roughin’ inspection to done.

Electricians are also reminded that a detailed panel directory must be attached with the electrical Inspection form and presented when applying for an initial inspection.
