Residents of the BVI are invited to review and submit comments for the Child Maintenance and Access Bill, 2016. The proposed Bill is expected to ensure that both parents have access to their children through appropriate arrangements as well as address concerns and challenges presented in the Magistrate’s Code of Procedure.

The Child Maintenance and Access Bill, 2016 along with the Maintenance Orders (Facilities Orders) Bill, 2016; the Magistrate’s Code of Procedures and the Discussion Paper can be easily accessed by clicking the tab on the related banner located on the Government’s website, www.bvi.gov.vg.

Persons are asked to submit comments electronically to ministryofhealth@gov.vg or mailed addressed to Child Maintenance and Access Bill Review, Ministry of Health and Social Development, #33 Admin Drive, Tortola, by March 20, 2017.
