The public is notified that effective Monday January 22, the operating hours of the Virgin Gorda Landfill site [dumpsite] will be changed from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. to the new hours of 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday.

Residents are advised that this change has become necessary in order to have better control of the use of the site and the waste being disposed. Persons arriving at the site to dispose of waste after 4:00 p.m. would not have access to the dumpsite.

 The Department of Waste Management regrets any inconvenience this change would cause and is seeking the public’s cooperation. Persons can contact the department at 468-4934.
