The British Virgin Islands Ports Authority (BVIPA) would like to inform the public of the process for verifying whether your cargo is ready for collection using the upgraded Port Management System. To determine whether your cargo is ready for collection, the public view of cargo status is now available. Please follow these steps to confirm that your cargo is ready for collection:

1. Visit the BVIPA’s website at www.bviports.org
   
   1. Scroll down and select the icon labelled PORTCONTROL.
2. Select Cargo Status on the left side of the page, this will take you to the Cargo Status page.
3. Select the search icon on the top right.                    
   
   1. Enter the BOL number and date in the pop-up box.
   2. Click Execute.
4. If your cargo status says Processed under the cargo status column, your cargo is ready to be collected.
   
   1. Please contact your agent or broker if cargo status says New under the cargo status column.
