Over 100 guests attended the BVI Cocktail Reception hosted by BVI House Asia at the sky lobby of Central Plaza held on October 17.  Consul General Andrea Heyn, OBE delivered brief remarks followed by Premier and Minister of Finance, Honourable D. Orlando Smith, OBE.  In addressing the private sector delegates, Premier Smith highlighted the importance of the relationship between Hong Kong and BVI, and the goal of the road show which will progress throughout the week into mainland China.  Premier Smith also spoke on key areas of advancement for BVI and its efforts to continue to diversify financial services.
