The Financial Services Implementation Unit (FSIU) takes its public awareness and education campaign to the Spotlight television show on JTV, Channel 55 tonight.

A six-member panel will share information on efforts to strengthen the financial services sector in the BVI, the progress made on the BVI Forward initiatives to date and plans for engaging the public to increase the level of awareness about the industry.  Tonight’s programme will also start the education process by defining financial services, what it entails and how the BVI fits into the global economy.

The BVI Forward spokespersons on tonight’s panel will include Director of the Financial Services Implementation Unit, Kedrick Malone; Initiative Sponsor, Lorna Smith; Managing Director at Estera, formerly Appleby and BVI Forward Endorser, Gareth Thomas; Partner and Head, Corporate & Commercial at O’Neal Webster and Member of Team BVI, Vanessa King; Tour Operator and BVI Forward Champion, Karl Scatliffe and Resident Manager, Aleman, Cordero, Galindo & Lee and BVI Forward Mentor, Ayana Liburd.
