The BVI Electricity Corporation (BVIEC) is seeking qualified applicants with industry experience to apply for membership to its Board of Directors.

Applicants must reside in the Virgin Islands and meet all other conditions of eligibility, including but not limited to: being willing and able to make a philosophical or emotional commitment to the board, believing in the mission of the organisation and helping to shape its vision, attending and participating meaningfully in meetings, serve on board committees and take reasonable risks, and provide support to other board members.

Ideal candidates must be able to contribute to the work of the board by bringing some special talent, skill, or knowledge. This may include board experience, understanding the basics of board procedures, energy and enthusiasm for the work of the organisation, and willingness to learn both board skills and technical skills, such as, business acumen.

Applicants are asked to email their cover letter, resume or curriculum vitae to premieroffice@gov.vg by November 26, 2021. Applicants can also deliver their applications physically to the Premier’s Office on the second floor of the Cutlass Tower in Road Town, Tortola.
