The Ministry of Financial Services, Labour, and Trade is inviting business owners, entrepreneurs, and interested persons to attend the highly anticipated BVI Business Banking Expo on Thursday, June 6.
Acting Premier and Minister responsible for the subject, Honourable Lorna G. Smith OBE said the Expo is a fantastic opportunity to learn from industry leaders, discover new financial products, and connect with potential partners.
Honourable Smith said, “Together, we can build a stronger and more vibrant business community in the Virgin Islands. Do not miss this exceptional opportunity to learn, network, and be part of the VI's exciting future. It promises to be an exceptional day filled with valuable insights and meaningful connections."
The event will be hosted at the Treasure Isle Hotel Conference Room and is designed to provide invaluable insights and resources to help persons navigate the world of business banking with confidence and vigor.
Attendees will benefit from expert panel discussions on the latest banking trends facilitated by industry leaders between 9:00 a.m. and noon. An exhibition component will be held from noon that will conclude at 3:00 p.m.
There will also be a series of interactive workshops on financial planning and investment strategies, networking opportunities with industry leaders and fellow entrepreneurs, and access to exclusive banking products and services offered in the Virgin Islands.
The objective of the expo is to aid persons in streamlining business financing, provide knowledge on new investment opportunities, and connect with like-minded individuals.
Participating financial institutions include Banco Popular, First Bank, National Bank of the Virgin Islands, CIBC, Bank of Asia, VP Bank and Republic Bank (BVI) Limited. There will be also participation from Unite BVI. The public is reminded that the event is free and a wealth of information is expected to be shared.
