The Alexandrina Maduro Primary School held a musical concert in celebration of this year’s Culture Week activities. Performances were done by Drastic, B’More, Shine-I, Sistah Joyce, Algernon “Macko” Mathavious, and the Alexandrina Maduro Primary School Steel Pan players. Sixth District representative, Honourable Alvera Maduro-Caines attended the activities and encouraged students to learn about their heritage and shared with students the history of her grandmother, the late Alexandrina Maduro.
