The Department of Agriculture is notifying the public, particularly the farming community that the abattoir in Paraquita Bay is currently unable to receive and process pigs, due to mechanical difficulties. However, goats,sheep and cattle are still being received.

The public will be notified when the equipment is restored to full capacity.
