Property owners in the Virgin Islands are reminded that the deadline to pay the 2017 tax without incurring interest has been extended to Friday, March 30, 2018.

The Property Tax list, which includes the name(s) of property owners and the amount of tax due, may be viewed at the Inland Revenue Department offices on the islands of Tortola and Virgin Gorda.

Property owners are also urged to declare structural damage to their buildings by completing a Building Damage Claim form available at the department. The information will be used to make appropriate adjustments to the 2018 assessments as necessary.

All objections forms must be fully completed and returned on or before February 28 via email (bvitaxes@gov.vg) or to the Inland Revenue office located on the 2nd floor of the Louise Malone Building (upstairs of BVI Cable TV) in Road Town. Forms can also be submitted to the Vanterpool Administration Office in Virgin Gorda from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
