Yes, you can order copies of photographs or documents.  Please contact the department.

Yes, GIS may be used as a resource when conducting research.

The department can furnish you with electronic copies of photographs or documents.

Members of the public often make requests for special services.

The Department of Information and Public Relations also provides many of its services to the public through assisting other Government bodies under three main areas;

  • Publication and Print Production
  • Broadcast Production
  • Public Relations, Advertising and Promotion

Please contact the Department if you have a special request.

As a policy, the Department of Information and Public Relations does not sign documents stating that particular images are not copyrighted, because Government records are public domain. For other materials, it is the user’s responsibility to determine copyright.

 

The Department of Information and Public Relations holds materials in a wide variety of formats including:

The Department of Information and Public Relations does not add to its holding through purchase. We may accept offers to submit images, materials and/or documents when said items are closely related to Government materials already in our possession.

The Department of Information and Public Relations shares news and information with the media in a variety of ways as it relates to each story. Information Officers write news releases, bulletins and press advisories.  We may also contact key reporters and editors directly to share news and information based on the individual story or event.

Currently, photocopying is not allowed at the Department.
