All registered licenced electricians, contractors, home and business owners are reminded that an electrical inspection has to be carried out on residential or commercial premises that have been disconnected for six months and over. This inspection has to be completed before reconnection of electricity to the premises.
The Office of the Supervisor of Elections is notifying eligible persons that the deadline to register to vote is September 4, for inclusion on the 2017 Official Voters List.
Residents of the BVI are asked to note that the community outreach on Ageing Services will be held on Friday September 1 and not on Thursday, August 31 as was previously announced.
Residents of the BVI are invited to support a community outreach stall on Thursday, August 31 outside the Scotia Bank Limited in Road Town between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
The public is asked to assist with clean-up efforts by removing garbage from their property, cleaning their yards, and removing derelict vehicles and boats that may have been flooded.

The new food handler’s session scheduled for Thursday, August 31 will be conducted at the Central Administration Complex in conference room number 10 located on the western wing of the complex.
The public is informed that Joe’s Hill will be temporarily closed today, August 28. until 4:00 p.m. and tomorrow, August 29 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
