The Ministry of the Environment, Natural Resources and Climate Change invites the public to participate in seagrape tree plantings at Long Bay, Beef Island on Saturday 15th March, Sunday 23rd March and Saturday 29th March, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
The public is advised that due to scheduled maintenance at the Bar Bay Water Plant, water services will be temporarily suspended from Paraquita Bay to Beef Island on Thursday, March 13.
The public is notified that road resurfacing works are slated to commence on Joe’s Hill Road from Tuesday, 11th March at 7:00 a.m. The works are anticipated to last three days.
The Department of Agriculture is advising all vendors participating in the Virgin Islands Agriculture and Fisheries Exhibition and Market on Tortola that a meeting will be held on Thursday, March 6 at the Paraquita Bay compound, starting at 5:00 p.m.
The Department of Immigration is reminding travellers that a valid passport is required for entry into the Territory. The department’s previously issued Bulletin of 21 April 2023, is updated effective 1 March, 2025 until further notice, ONLY BVIslanders and Belongers may seek permission to enter without a valid passport.
