The Ministry of Health and Social Development is advising the public to remain vigilant amid recent increases in COVID-19 positive cases in the Territory.
Motorists are advised that the portion of Shore Way Drive and Parker Road in the vicinity of the RG Hodge Parking Lot to I-Smart will be closed to vehicular traffic on Thursday, December 2 from 6:00 p.m. to Sunday, December 5 at 2:00 a.m.
Members of the public with chronic diseases are encouraged to vaccinate against COVID-19 to reduce risk of severe disease and to take precautions to minimise the risks of exposure.
The public is urged to remain vigilant amid recent increases in COVID-19 positive cases and the recent identification of the Omicron variant which has been discovered in Africa and other countries and is a new variant of concern.

The public is notified that the Nurses and Midwives Council is open for 2022/2023 licence renewals from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Licences can be renewed by visiting the Public Health Unit’s office located adjacent to the Red Cross building.
The public is advised of the following special dates in December for the Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture and public schools.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the post of Political Advisor to the Minister of Natural Resources, Labour and Immigration Honourable Vincent Wheatley.
The motoring public is advised that the portion of Main Street Road in the vicinity of Mid-Town Restaurant to the Commercial Court will be closed to vehicular traffic on Saturday, November 27 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. Sunday, November 28.
