The public is advised that beginning Monday, May 4, appointments are to be made prior to conducting business at the Social Development Department. Persons can call 468-3650 or 468-3636 to schedule appointments. Applications for the various services can also be accessed online by visiting www.bvi.gov.vg
Parents and students can now view the video tutorial for the Cisco WebEx platform that is being used by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture for the new remote learning system.
The public is notified that as of Monday, May 4, appointments must be made prior to conducting business with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture.

The public is advised that the Town and Country Planning Department will be offering its full complement of services remotely in adherence to the social distancing guidelines by the Health Emergency Operations Centre (HEOC).
The Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture is advising parents of students attending public schools who are in need of devices to facilitate online learning, to contact the school’s principal to complete an electronic application form.
Employees who are having disputes with their employers and need assistance are urged to contact the Department of Labour and Workforce Development’s Disputes Unit.
Businesses in the Territory are notified that the orientation sessions conducted for employers and employees by the Immigration Department and the Department of Labour and Workforce Development are suspended until further notice.
In the interim, hand-outs and the use of technology will be utilised to aid employers and employees with the requirements and rules of both departments.
