The public is notified that the Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture will be accepting appointments for the payment and distribution of Grades 7 to 9 Digital Textbooks and the Device Loan Programme from Monday, August 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for public schools on Tortola.

The public is advised of the following special dates for the Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture and public schools.

Parents and guardians of public primary and secondary students with loaners of Chromebooks and Laptops are asked to return the devices to the Ministry of Education, 3rd Floor Ward’s Building. Collection will be conducted from Thursday, August 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The public is notified that Friday August 13 is the last day to register for the British Virgin Islands-United States Virgin Islands (BVI-USVI) Vaccination Bubble initiative, to ensure that timelines set by the United States Virgin Islands are adhered to.

The public is advised that the Inland Revenue Department office on Virgin Gorda has resumed in-person services.

The BVI Ports Authority (BVIPA) is providing an update on the cruise vessel activity in the British Virgin Islands.

The Recovery and Development Agency now invites pre-qualification submissions from contractors who specialise in prefab/modular building construction to participate in the pre-qualification process for the Elmore Stoutt High School Re-development Project in the British Virgin Islands.

Recipients of COVID-19 Economic Stimulus Grants for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises including Daycares, Pre-schools, Private Schools; churches; Religious Organisations; Farmers, and Fisherfolks are asked to complete a mandatory COVID-19 Stimulus Feedback Form. 

 Persons who were issued curfew passes under the curfew orders published on July 9 and July 22 are advised that they will be issued new passes and do not need to make application for extensions.
