The Ministry of Education, Youth Affairs and Sports has extended the time for the scholarship applications for the 2022/2023 academic year to Wednesday, November 30th. 

The Environmental Health Division will be hosting its final virtual Food Handlers Training Course of 2022 on December 6 at 5:00 p.m.

The public is advised that a portion of Brady Ghut Road is closed for four (4) weeks. The purpose of the closure is to facilitate the excavation and construction of a retaining wall.

Residents and commuters that traverse above the proposed site are asked to use the alternate Spring Ghut Road for access. Persons that live below the site may use the Blackburn Highway to the Brady Ghut bypass road or the road by Penn Tiles.

Motorist are asked to exercise extreme caution.

The British Virgin Islands Ports Authority (BVIPA) would like to inform commercial vessel owners that an application requesting permission to berth at the Anegada Pier during the Anegada Lobster Festival is required

The public is advised that a portion of Main Street in the vicinity of the Midtown Restaurant to the Commercial Court will be closed on Saturday, November 26 at 7:00 p.m. to Sunday November, 27 at 7:00 a.m.

The public is advised that a portion of Fleming Street in the vicinity of Rite Way Food Market and E.A. Creque store will be closed from Friday, November 25 at 3:00 p.m. to Sunday November, 27 at 1:00 a.m.

Residents on Virgin Gorda are notified that a social worker from the Social Development Department will host office hours at the Vanterpool Administration Building on Tuesdays and Fridays between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to address concerns related to social issues.

The public is notified that a portion of Haddock Alley in the vicinity of JOMA Building and One Stop Mall will be closed on Saturday, November 19 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to facilitate construction works.
