Chief Immigration Officer Mr. Ian Penn is advising persons who were granted residence status in 2019 and have not yet received the relevant certification, to email the Immigration Department’s Status Unit at immstatus@gov.vg indicating such, and to gain further information on the collection process.
The Office of the Supervisor of Elections is informing individuals seeking to register to vote, and whose Virgin Islands passports are expired, that they can request a temporary letter from the Civil Registry and Passport office as proof of belongership.
The Office of the Supervisor of Elections will be facilitating an information session for prospective candidates in the upcoming General Elections ahead of the dissolution of the House of Assembly.
The Public is reminded that the collection of the required one-time fee payment is currently on hold until further notice for persons who were granted approval on Crown Land in the Bond subdivision development on Virgin Gorda.

The public is notified that the Civil Registry & Passport Office has resumed issuing Belongers Cards for persons deemed to belong to the Virgin Islands.
The public is notified that the portion of Long Look Road in the vicinity of the Long Look Stickett will be closed on Saturday, February 18 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to facilitate activities scheduled at the Stickett.
