The Department of Labour and Workforce Development is advising all businesses that all work permit renewals for submission to the department are to be accompanied by certificates of good standings from the Social Security Board, Inland Revenue Department and National Health Insurance, as well as the certificates of earnings from the Social Security Board and Inland Revenue Department for the applicable employee seeking a renewal of his or her work permit.
All persons or organisations who are desirous of hosting summer programmes must first register with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture before they begin to operate.

The Environmental Health Division is hosting a virtual food handlers’ training session for food handlers who cards require updating on July 14 at 8:30am and 5:00pm.
Residents at Long Bush, Lower Estate and Huntum’s Ghut on Tortola are notified that there will be disruption to their water supply as works have begun on the improvement of the Water Distribution Network at the reservoir in Long Bush.
