Minister for Communications and Works, Honourable Mark Vanterpool, is featured as he presented a plaque to Captain Kim Larson of the Norwegian Jade on the cruise ship’s inaugural call to the Territory on Thursday, January 19.

Representatives from the Government of the Virgin Islands, BVI Tourist Board and Island Shipping welcomed Mein Schiff 5 on Thursday, November 17, to the Territory for its inaugural call.

November is Tourism Month.

For the 2016-2017 cruise season, the Territory is expecting over 700,000 cruise passengers and several inaugural calls to the port of Road Town.

All taxi drivers and tour operators are invited to a meeting with the Minister of Communications and Works, Honourable Mark Vanterpool at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16, at the Training Division conference room in the Betteto Frett Building.
